La Samaritaine, a historic Parisian landmark that has been owned by the LVMH group since 2010, is set to begin a new chapter in April 2020 with the opening of a new luxury hotel, Le Cheval Blanc Paris. The hotel will occupy 20,000 square meters of the grand department store, as well as offices, apartments, a nursery, and more.
With four hotels, including three palaces (like the Cheval Blanc Randheli in the Maldives), Cheval Blanc is embarking on a new adventure in 2020 with this fifth luxury hotel, all in the heart of Paris in this exceptional location. Guests will be charmed by the exclusive amenities and high-end private services that will be offered.
Peter Marino has designed a typically Parisian residence, created custom furniture, and chosen unique objects for the hotel's 26 rooms and 46 suites. Art will of course have a prominent place with sublime works.
An exceptional apartment located on the 8th and 9th floors will consist of two adjoining suites of 650 and 350 square meters respectively, with a private elevator and a 12.50-meter pool overlooking Montmartre.
Gastronomy will play a central role in this luxury hotel: Chef Arnaud Donckele will offer his cuisine in the gourmet restaurant, but he will also oversee the French cuisine restaurant on the 7th floor, facing the Pont Neuf, which will coexist with a Milanese restaurant, facing the Eiffel Tower, both sharing a landscaped terrace of 650 square meters. In the lounge café, pastry chef Maxime Frédéric, arriving from the Four Seasons Georges V, will offer his sweet creations throughout the day.
For the spa, Cheval Blanc has chosen the Christian Dior brand for its urban spa. An exclusive sports club and a hair salon will also be available.
