What a beautiful postcard-worthy setting the magnificent Abbey of La-Bussière-sur-Ouche makes, hosting the one Michelin-starred restaurant, 1131, led by Chef Guillaume Royer. This Meilleur Ouvrier de France offers modern cuisine in a majestic setting, with tables placed in the middle of sublime vaults. The luxury is assumed, and all services offered are well in line with the atmosphere. Large, tastefully decorated rooms are available for rent to extend this luxurious escape. The chef is committed to more sustainable gastronomy by growing his own vegetables and harvesting honey from the park's beehives.

The menu focuses on regional products with always precise cooking and mastered flavors. The chef's high technical skill is illustrated in his dishes with complex names and colossal work, such as the pike head, marinated fillet with aligoté, then poached, mixed with fresh herbs, peach and kalamansi vinaigrette, radishes, fresh peach, and dried duck breast. Cheeses, sorbets, and fruits beautifully finish the meal. Two menus, Signature of the moment and Gastronomy walk with the chef, are offered at 98 and 157 euros.

The wine list is monumental, with a rich collection of Burgundy wines.

The restaurant is open for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday and for lunch only on Sunday.
