Beuvron-en-Auge : a Typical Village in Normandy
By Florence Consul ·
The village of Beuvron-en-Auge, a certified member of the Most Beautiful Villages of France association, is located in the historic Norman domain of the Pays d'Auge, about 30 kilometers from Caen and Lisieux. Here you can discover the classic Norman countryside with its apple orchards, half-timbered houses, horses, small shops, and local producers.
Formerly the stronghold of the Harcourt family, Beuvron-en-Auge is a shining example of Norman architecture. Wood, slate, tile... the village offers picturesque and authentic scenery! It has been carefully renovated and maintained over the years, and it's truly a pleasure to wander through its streets!
