As you may know, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok is often ranked as the best in the world! It goes without saying that the hotel’s pastries are equally excellent! Several boutiques in the world’s most beautiful shopping centers will invite you to try their tasty treats.
In a delicate atmosphere, you can explore all kinds of pastries, macarons, viennoiseries, and chocolates. You’ll also come across the famous Mariage Frères teas, which accompany many of these sweets.
At noon, come enjoy a salad, quiche, or other light lunch, or simply make a trip in the afternoon to treat yourself to one of their exceptional pastries. The Sacher and the Top are by far my favorites. As for the macarons, I didn’t really fall in love with them, as I’d rather go to Pierre Hermé or Ladurée, where they’re better in my opinion. If you’ve got an insatiable sweet tooth, let yourself be tempted by an “Haute Couture” afternoon tea.
