It's hard to resist the call of Parisian palaces at teatime! The Hôtel de Crillon is no exception and offers the most beautiful delicacies in the capital in its Jardin d'Hiver. After a stay in this luxury hotel in 2019, I had the pleasure of returning this year to taste the best pastries in all of Paris!
A Prestigious Location
The Jardin d'Hiver is located in one of the most beautiful hotels in Paris! It's a privileged setting to share an unforgettable moment, whether it's admiring the superb room or satisfying your taste buds. Tourists and Parisians mingle in this cozy atmosphere to taste the delights of pastry chef Matthieu Carlin.
The Lords' Tea
Served by reservation from Friday to Sunday, the Lords' Tea is the best way to taste the sweet pleasures of the pastry chef. From 2:30 pm to 6 pm, sweet-toothed Parisians sit down to a hot drink (special mention for the divine hot chocolate!) and savory canapés. Next come the scones or puff pastries and pastries such as strawberry and orange blossom tart, milk chocolate sweetness, pink grapefruit heart, and rhubarb and dill, white cheese mousse. The pastries change of course according to the seasons and the inspirations of the chef!
The Jardin d'Hiver is open every day from 7 am to 11 pm. The Lords' Tea is priced at €60 per person. Don't hesitate to consult the menu on the official website of the Hôtel de Crillon.
