Proudly selected by the Michelin Guide, Mina Brasserie embodies the elegance of a contemporary brasserie, created by renowned American chef Michael Mina. The restaurant impresses with its vibrant yet sophisticated atmosphere, where 1950s American touches blend with warm modern design. By his side, Executive Chef Rami Nasser, originally from Beirut, brings his contemporary sensibility and attention to detail to every dish. With a prestigious international background, he brilliantly reimagines brasserie classics in a modern and refined style, perfectly aligned with the spirit of the venue. Together, they form a complementary duo driven by excellence, making Mina Brasserie a must-visit in Dubai.
Brasserie Cuisine Revisited With Elegance
To start, we chose two contrasting cocktails: the essential Espresso Martini—bold and intense, perfect to awaken the senses—and the Blaze, a unique alcohol-free creation blending tea, beetroot juice, cherry syrup, and lemon—sparkling and daring.
As starters, the Eggplant Millefeuille impressed with its delicate, tender layers enhanced by aged parmesan and creamy Dijon sauce, while the Foie Gras Terrine, paired with Granny Smith apple and cocoa nibs, offered a subtle interplay of textures and flavors. The Roasted Sea Bass, perfectly cooked, came with saffron fregola and preserved lemon, delivering a balanced and radiant dish. More indulgent, the Wagyu Burger paired gooey gouda with crispy caramelized onions for a hearty and comforting plate. The rich and tender potato gratin elegantly completed these dishes.
To end on a high note, we tried two signature desserts: the Tiramisu, crafted to perfection, layered mascarpone mousse, soft sponge, and chocolate-coffee sauce, while the Banana Tarte Tatin by Michael Mina delighted with its crispy puff pastry, smooth caramel, and honey ice cream—a true moment of pure indulgence.
