Our Stay in the Deluxe Valley Wing Suite
We stayed in a Deluxe Valley Wing Suite with timeless charm. With its classic and decidedly old school look, the decor highlights elegant furniture, refined woodwork, and a palette of warm tones, evoking the grandeur of yesteryear's great hotels. This traditional aesthetic is complemented by a contemporary touch, notably through cutting-edge facilities such as the Dyson hairdryer. Spacious at 110 sqm, the suite includes a separate bedroom and living room, two marble bathrooms with a freestanding bathtub and a closed shower, as well as a minibar and a private cocktail bar. Not to mention the breathtaking view of the lush gardens and sparkling pool, adding a touch of serenity to this exceptional setting.
A Culinary Journey Between Refinement and Traditions
One of the highlights of the Valley Wing experience is undoubtedly the exclusive breakfast at the Summit Room. We also chose to have lunch there before our departure, enjoying simple and delicious cuisine in the majestic setting of the main lobby of Shangri-La.

To prolong this moment of well-being, head to Chi, The Spa, a true sanctuary nestled within the establishment. This haven of peace offers a selection of holistic treatments, inspired by ancient traditions from various Asian cultures, for an absolute relaxation experience.
Sports enthusiasts will find their bliss at the Health Club, an ultra-modern gym equipped with the latest fitness technologies. For outdoor activity, the hotel also provides three tennis courts, perfect for a dynamic match.

I particularly appreciated the subdued and elegant atmosphere of this prestigious wing, where every detail is thought out to provide exceptional service. From our spacious and timeless suite to privileged moments at the Summit Room or Marble Bar, everything contributed to making this stay unique.
