Paris Mikki: The Best Bakery in Bangkok

With its two boutiques (one in the center of Sukhumvit and the other in the heart of Central Embassy), Paris Mikki has enjoyed overnight success in the world of food-lovers. The pastries are delicious (and I'm very picky when it comes to sweets ^^) as well as highly sophisticated.

It's important to note that chef Carol Boosaba has already worked with some of the best gourmet brands (including Angelina and Ladurée) and she implements this French savoir-faire in her delicious patisseries and croissants.

I tasted ten or so cakes from Paris Mikki over the course of my trip, and I have to say that the quality is excellent. A few pastries stand out in my mind, including the Orangette (orange, hazelnuts, and chocolate) and the delicious fig tart.
