Park Hyatt Doha enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of downtown Msheireb, an ambitious project to renovate Doha's historic district. Culturally, it offers easy access to the Museum of Islamic Art and the National Museum of Qatar, both just a 10-minute drive away. For those who prefer to stroll, Souq Waqif, famous for its traditional ambiance, is within walking distance, offering a rewarding experience at the end of the day. Moreover, its proximity to the airport, just 15 km away, makes it a convenient option for travelers.
An Elegant Fusion of Tradition and Modernity
Park Hyatt Doha stands out with its unique style, elegantly blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design. This subtle balance is reflected in every aspect of the establishment, offering visitors a rich and diverse visual experience. The rooms and suites offer breathtaking panoramic views of the city, allowing guests to immerse themselves in Doha's urban landscape from their private space.
Spacious Comfort and Panoramic Views
Park Hyatt Doha stands out with its exceptional accommodation offerings, including 187 elegant rooms and a variety of luxurious suites (28 Park suites, 3 Park Executive suites, one Diplomat suite, and one Presidential suite), each providing a unique experience.
Each room, including the most modest which spans no less than 40 square meters, guarantees a comfortable and spacious space. The immense bay windows reveal breathtaking views of the Msheireb district, the city, and the Corniche.
The Park Suite that we tested is an example of sophistication, stretching over 90 square meters. It includes a spacious bedroom, an elegant living/dining area, as well as a luxurious marble bathroom equipped with a bathtub and a relaxation jet shower, combining comfort and luxury. The highlight is the panoramic view of Doha from the room, and also from the ideally placed bathtub.
A Diverse Culinary Experience
The gastronomy at Park Hyatt Doha is a rich and varied culinary exploration, thanks to its three exceptional restaurants.
The Sora restaurant, located on the 21st floor, offers not only a breathtaking panoramic view of landmarks like the Doha Palace, Green Mosque, Souq Waqif, the Corniche, and the West Bay horizons, but also a high-end Japanese culinary experience. The menu features small sharing dishes, sushi, sashimi, and rolls with surprising flavors, as well as grilled meats on the Robata, a Japanese barbecue. We had the pleasure of going there twice: once for the delicious Friday brunch, an elegant and tasty buffet, and for a dinner on the terrace to admire the view while savoring the signature menu, allowing us to discover a range of exquisite flavors.
Opus, on the other hand, offers a remarkable fusion of French cuisine and Qatari flavors. This is also where breakfast is served, which is a true culinary feast. Guests can indulge in a variety of savory dishes, including Middle Eastern specialties, as well as pastries and sweet treats. In addition to this generous offering, it also serves à la carte dishes such as the tasty French toast, crispy waffles, eggs benedict, or a spicy shakshouka.
Anis is Park Hyatt's healthy option. Thanks to its direct street entrance, it attracts both locals and tourists. It serves balanced and flavorful dishes, including gluten-free options, as well as coffees, juices, and smoothies. Whether for our lunch or dinner, Anis impressed us with the mastery and richness of the flavors of its dishes.
The Spa: A Luxurious Haven for Relaxation
The spa at Park Hyatt Doha is a wellness oasis spread over two floors, separately dedicated to ladies and gentlemen, offering a luxurious refuge to relax after a day of exploring the city. It is equipped with top-notch facilities, including mood showers, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a hammam, and even an ice room. For those looking to maintain their fitness routine, the spa also has separate gyms for ladies and gentlemen, perfect for an invigorating session.
In terms of treatments, Park Hyatt Doha partners with the prestigious Swiss brand Valmont to offer exceptionally high-quality facial treatments. Guests can be pampered by experienced therapists, as in the case of the Valmont 'Purity of the Alps' facial treatment, followed by a one-hour relaxing massage, ensuring deep relaxation and a memorable moment, which I had the pleasure of experiencing during my stay.
The spa is complemented by a semi-covered pool located on the 6th floor, offering spectacular views of the city. This pool is the perfect place to relax and soak in the calm while admiring the urban landscape of Doha.
My Review
My stay at Park Hyatt Doha was a memorable experience that exceeded all my expectations! Its privileged location in the heart of the Msheireb district while being close to the airport is a major asset for a stopover in Doha. A big favorite for the Park Suite where we stayed, which is a haven of peace with a dream view. The varied and exquisite cuisine was a culinary journey in itself. As for the spa, with its cutting-edge facilities and Valmont treatments, it was the pinnacle of relaxation during my stay.
