This place is a must see if you visit Bangkok. Located in the heart of the capital, this beautiful house is the home where lived Jim Thompson, an American lover of the kingdom of Siam. He decided to settle in and transported 6 traditional houses (most of them from Ayutthaya). It's a perfect harmony between traditional architecture and some notes of occidental touches.
The guided visit with a small group offers you the possibility to observe the interior and to know more about this man life. Some potteries and sculptures end well the visit but the major asset is the luxurious garden which transport us very far from the craziness of Bangkok !
