Located in the Otemachi district between the Imperial Garden and Tokyo Station, this luxury hotel is different from others with its own style: contemporary design mixed with traditional Japanese elements that guests can enjoy while wearing a kimono, as tradition requires. In the 84 rooms, one feels as if they are in a ryokan in the middle of the Japanese countryside: wooden tables, washi paper partitions, tatami floors, and futons as beds.
On the 17th floor, the onsen allows guests to experience this aspect of Japanese tradition in a luxurious setting, as well as traditional Japanese-inspired treatments. At dinner time, there are only a handful of tables available (reservation strongly recommended) where guests can enjoy the cuisine of chef Noriyuki Hamada, with flavors inspired by French cuisine and Japanese ingredients. As for the Japanese breakfast with grilled fish, rice, miso soup, and more, it is the best way to immerse oneself in Japanese culture.
A hotel that will appeal to lovers of Japanese culture and traditions.
