Under the drive of La Réserve and the excellence vision of its owner Michel Reybier (who is also responsible for La Réserve Ramatuelle, La Réserve Paris, La Réserve Geneva, among others), the Eden au Lac hotel reinvents itself and becomes La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich. It becomes the new 5-star hotel in Zurich, the place to be for travelers seeking an elegant and timeless experience in the heart of an imaginary yacht club designed by creator Philippe Starck.

Built 110 years ago on the shore of the lake, the building nonetheless needed a good touch-up to return to the race for the world's most beautiful luxury hotels. This is now a thing of the past, and we owe this little gem to Philippe Starck who has created an extraordinary place.

The hotel's emblematic facade with its blue and white striped shutters shading the balconies adorned with lion heads and other historical sculptures, has been preserved as a witness to the holiday spirit of the early 20th century.

Philippe Starck imagined the Yacht Club on the lake, with a whole range of objects evoking the nautical universe: red woods gouged as if seized from the hulls of boats, photos and paintings of sailboats and captains like a family portrait gallery scattered throughout the hotel, Venetian gondola bronze oars, a collection of "half-entire hulls" frozen in resin, oars placed here and there as if forgotten after the regatta, light wood floors with wide slats that make you want to walk barefoot eager to be able to swim.

Its location in this exceptional environment is an extraordinary asset that guests will be able to enjoy in summer and winter, comfortably seated in the sun between two swims in the lake or sheltered in the ground floor's glass verandas facing a more tumultuous weather.

The 5-star hotel has a handful of keys, 40 rooms and suites with sizes ranging from 22m2 to 79m2. Facing the lake, Philippe Starck drew inspiration from sailors' cabins on shore to imagine these cocoons. The rooms and suites are, like the hotel, minimalist, elegant, and modern. The natural, soft, and light hues for simplicity and comfort, the solid brick and delicate rattan walls for warmth and intimacy.

The Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich gives a real boost to the culinary offering in Zurich. Decidedly modern, the hotel offers contemporary and elegant cuisine in unique, warm, and stimulating places, all day long, allowing each person to live at their own pace, from calm mornings by the lake to the lively summer nights on the roof terrace. In the same spirit, Room Service operates 24/7.

With its large windows, Eden Kitchen & Bar will quickly become the place to be in Zurich. A cozy and trendy atmosphere between the natural leather sofas and the friendly tables, where one can admire the ballet of chefs in the large open kitchen. It is the Italian chef Marco Ortolani who is at the helm. After an international career that influenced his creations, he took over the restaurant Eden Kitchen & Bar to offer dishes with influences from all over the world. As for the wine menu, it pays homage to vineyards from all over the world, the great Swiss and French vineyards, with a special place for the domains Michel Reybier.

Nestled on the sixth floor, La Muña restaurant dominates the city with its tree-lined roof terrace and offers a unique 360° view of the historic center, the lake and the distant Alps. The restaurant has invested in the former attic under the spectacular dome of the hotel where comfortable sofas and carpets picked up during travels to Persia and Asia have been scattered.

Ultra-fresh and high in flavor, La Muña's cuisine combines soft and crunchy, raw and marinated, acidic and sweet flavors with carefully sourced ingredients, sometimes rare in Europe, in refined minute preparations designed to be shared in a convivial atmosphere. Each table can therefore select Crudo or Caliente dishes, where fragrant ceviches seasoned with fresh spices and herbs rub shoulders with teriyaki beef entrecôte with truffle sauce, sashimis coexist with wakame seriola sauce ponzu for an amazing and tasty culinary journey.
