Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott International's collection of independent hotels that offers unique and original experiences, has announced its intention to add 12 new properties to its European portfolio this year.
The following properties will join Autograph Collection Hotels this year: Aegon, Mykonos, a stunning beach resort; Hotel Universo, a 16th-century palace located in the medieval city of Lucca, near Florence; Schloss Lieser, a romantic castle in the Moselle region of Germany; Academia of Athens in Greece, whose design is inspired by the Greek philosopher Plato; and The Shelbourne, an iconic hotel in the heart of Dublin.
Launched in 2010, the Autograph Collection Hotels brand offers a beautiful selection of boutique hotels. It has grown from 5 to over 160 hotels in just 9 years. Continuing its global expansion, Autograph Collection Hotels currently has nearly 100 additional hotels in the pipeline.
